Completing "Good Intentions" Is an Elixir

The pictures in my collage frame at work were almost four years old.  But, I always did other jobs first. Though it was my best intention to do it, it never happened.  Today I awakened with a different determination.  Rather than checking my email and Twitter messages, I deliberately chose to finish two tasks that I had been putting off.

I located some action pictures of our summer fun together, cut them and put them in the frame. It brought liveliness right from the start and refreshes my spirit every time I glance at it.

Another intention was to order a subscription to Inc. & Fast Company Magazine.  I located the crumpled order form at the bottom of my purse, filled it out and put it in the mail.  One of the reasons I ordered these is that every article stirs new insights and ideas related to MITA work.  I look forward to the upcoming issues and new possibilities.

Even though target is the second step of MITA, I struggle most in this area.  Completing these two tasks brought such pleasure to my day that I now choose to include one "intention" within each daily checklist.  It worked like an elixir for a pick-me-up.  And now I want more rewards like this.

Are you hitting your bull's eyes?  Thoughts...
