Say Congrats to Ellen Weber - New USA Citizen

“I am a citizen, not of Athens or Greece, but of the world.” Socrates

Today, Dr. Ellen Weber becomes a citizen of the United States. Along with that, Ellen has a wider world view in her heart. Since she lived two years with Canada's Inuit on Baffin Island, worked with leaders in Santiago, Chile, Ireland and Chongqing, China and many others. Ellen finds kinship with peoples around the globe. Since she resides in New York state, she wanted to make it her "home" in more than word.

At the moment the Immigration and Naturalization Service official told her she passed all the requirements for citizenship a tear welled in her eye. Becoming a citizen of the U.S. is emotional.

Ellen chose to take the oath of citizenship on Lincoln's 200th birthday, today, February 12. Please do stop by Brain Leaders and Learners to say, "Congrats."
